So when I feel overwhelmed with emotion... I sit down and write. God really just seems to enter me and answer all my questions right there infront of my eyes. I wrote this one right after I had received the Holy Ghost and was baptized in his name!! :D


People surround me with hate
Telling me I'm wrong
to believe what's in this book.
This battle's growing long.

They don't seem to understand
that you've shown me truth.
It's not through others I've changed,
that only comes from you.

Yes, Lord you have entered me
an experience I'll never forget
Baptized in your precious name,
and washed clean of every regret.

The proof is right in front of me
as clear as the ocean's blue
This life I live is right and clean
Nothing from you is less than true.

I'm called to be separate.
Easier said than done.
The world looks oh-so tempting
Can I still have fun?
