new to the Apostolic church

Well these past 3 mmonths of my life have been crazy. I got invited to a youth rally with some friends and when I got there I found out that it was Apostolic. At that time I had never heard speaking in tongues and was a little frightened. Overall I enjoyed the service just not hearing people speak in tongues. There was something that drew me in though because I went back to church with these friends time after time. I was still on the fence with the whole tongues thing but studied and prayed for God to show me truth. Something about this church felt right so I kept going and have been for a little over 3 months now. I now believe speaking in tongues is correct and that I need and want it. I love this church and they have changed my life so much. But for once I feel like I know what I believe is correct, and not because someone told me so.

Well read Acts 2 that is the day of Pentecost when the church was born and God poured out His spirit which is the Holy Ghost. And follow Acts 2:38 to be saved and filled with the gift and the power of the Holy Ghost with evidence of speaking in other tounges. Paul talked about it in 1 Corinthians he tells the church of Corinth that a man edifieth himself with God when he speaks in tonges if you look up the definition of edifieth or edify it's great!!! Hope you recieve the gift of the Holy Ghost I'll be praying for you Sis :)
