"Networking Apostolics Worldwide"

I've been listening to Sis Vesta Mangun's message from the BOTT 2010 conference ~ all I can say is "AWESOME!" She has really motivated ME! I have spent so much time *doing what I want* (especially this past 2 yrs), and all the while neglecting my walk with my Savior JESUS. Shame on me!! Yeah, I've been *talking to the Lord*, throwing a little prayer out to the wind and saying I love my God, but where's the dedication in my life, the "diligently seeking Him" and being consistent with my Bible reading?? God's Holy Word says ~ "If a man knoweth to do good and doeth it not, to him it is SIN." If we KNOW what we should be doing for our own soul's salvation and our relationship with our God and His Kingdom, wouldn't that be considered A Sin Against God, when we don't do it? I'm believing it is!

Sis Mangun's message was about "Wearing our heart on our sleeve". Too many times we're wearing our Feelings on our sleeve ~ "we've been hurt so we aren't going to church any more" (or we hit-n-miss), or "there's too many hypocrites in the church", and we all know the MANY excuses for being disobedient to God. But that's NO excuse! And how many goes to church every service, but that's where it stops?? What are we doing for the Kingdom of God? Our main duty on this earth is to lead people . . . a lost and dying world . . . to our Lord and Savior! NOT getting politically involved with this world's cares and trying to make sinners live morally by making laws! If we were doing our "Christian duty", it should be sowing salvational seeds and caring for lost souls ~ They NEED JESUS in their life!

This is starting the third month for this year 2010 ~ I want to make a difference in my life, and the lives that cross my path each day. The question I want . . . and need . . . to ask myself every day is ~ Will I be called a "Good and Faithful Servant" on the Day of Judgement? If I were to die today? I doubt it very much. And I'm trying to truly be honest with myself. Even tho I don't work outside of my home, and I'm unable to get out and visit people like I'd want . . . I CAN STILL PRAY and FAST for the needs of my community and for this nation and world. There is always SOMETHING we can do for the Kingdom of God, no matter how small we may think it is. It's important to do SOMETHING!

May our Lord do an awakening in His church this day! It's time we started Living what we say we believe. I don't just want to "Look the Part" ~ I want to BE a "Part of the Kingdom of God" ~ a worthy workman. In JESUS' mighty Name!
