The story begins by saying that uncle was remodeling his house and he hasn't been able to spend a lot of time with his kids. So, he took a 16 month and a four year old with him as well as me and his wife to hime depot. We were in the store for at least two hours already....if any of you haven't been in that store...it is sooo boring! Unless you're into that kind of thing. Well, I eventually took the two girls and walked around with them.
The four year old started getting tired and… Continue
Some men choose to vent anger through violence
Some men choose to vent passion through sex

Some men choose not to see what comes next
Some men live a life without reason
Some men live a life without rhyme
Some men live a life in blunder
Some men live with no worth to their time

The world has no need for another weakling.
Another person dragged down by life and trial and circumstance to the point that they simply will not. Will not move, will not stand, will night fight, will not try, will not live and will not be strong. Never mind the fact that there are so many looking at them.
Have you ever taken the time to look about you and see how many eyes are on you? How many of those eyes are of people looking to you for strength and as an example?
There are… Continue

Maybe its just me but has the church forgotten what our porpose is? Have we become seekers of pleasure more than being about our father's buisness? That's just how it seems to me.
I'm not talking about worldly people. I'm talking about Holy Ghost filled people. People that are at church every time the door is open. That is what scares me.
We are truly in the last days. We need revival in our own selves.
We say we're seperate from the world but are we.?
We must be about our… Continue

There is nothing sadder than being unable to feed Julianne or give her what she needs due to a third of my salary still being unpaid. Meeting our needs is hard and I know it will affect our landlord downstairs who has four children of his own. He is an honest and reasonable man so I will trust in the Lord that he will supply my needs and their needs according to his abundant riches in glory.
I give thanks to Jesus Christ that he has given us the privilege of being able to lay our… Continue
Last Sunday I thoroughly enjoyed and was blessed by a new Pentecostal house fellowship in Mui Wo.
The fellowship is organised by a Norwegian church and was overseen by Norewegian pastor David Hestevold. Although small in number the fellowship was extremely multi-cultural.
Our guest speaker was Pastor Jocello from Manila in the Philippines. Also present was Angela Clark also from the Philippines and wife of my good friend and ex colleague Colin. Katrina a Norwegian was assisting the… Continue
You know... Life is so short yet there is so much to do. Sometimes I get burdened with the stuff I need to accomplish such as my studies... my career... and most importantly, my ministry. What is my ministry? What is my passion? Somehow I am not sure. I have a strong desire to reach out to people and let them have hope as everyone seems to be losing hope these days. It's all doom and gloom but so few realizes that Jesus is on the ship. He's the captain. Then again, who am I to talk... I… Continue

New Converts, Something so special when GOD sends you new converts, especially, when you see thier zeal and excitement, on thier face, in thier voice and actions, oh boy thier actions! you know the actions I mean. the kind that scares those that have become complacent, thier jumping, running, and shouting at all times. they dont want to sit still, they cant sit still. they have been delivered from a whirlwind of tragedy, into a whirlwind of exciting power and might.( do you blame them?) God has… Continue

So far it has been quite an experience, it took at least a month for everything to settle down then we went to the
Humane Society and bought a Spaniel Puppy. She has definitely livened things up around here, like it is time to take her in side from the backyard, that is a lu lu of a time ............When you go to grab her she dashes away

As I have observed the committment of my son to his dying wife and his two children, I have wondered if I could be as strong and dedicated under the same conditions. He takes care of his wife all night and most of the day, hardly ever leaving her side. He also, takes his children to school, works at home and sees to their welfare mostly by himself. He is the youth pastor at the Pentecostals of Saraland and is always involved with the hospital ministry. I have wondered how can he be so involved… Continue
There are several old sayings that came to my mind this morning. "One good turn deserves another." "You scratch my back and I'll scratch yours." "You get what you deserve." Just to name a few. Unfortunately that is how we often live our lives...we follow these rules.
"But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." Rom 5:8 KJV
I have to say that I am so thankful that God has His own rules that He… Continue

I have learned that life without Christ is not living, it is only existing. I have learned that life is what you make it to be. I have learned that life is not always fair, but that you can survive. I have learned that the most important things in life are free: God, love, family, happiness and disappointments. I have learned that as life progresses, you learn to adapt, you become wiser, you become your parents and your children become you. I have learned that life is not always consistent,… Continue

The other morning I was sitting along a country road waiting for the time to pick up a passenger. I caught a motion out of the corner of my eye and turned to see a blue jay land across the street. I find birds to be interesting and sat watching him for as long as he was there. I noticed that he would peck the ground two or three times, quickly, then look all around him before repeating the pecking of the ground. I realized the bird was watching for his enemies, being… Continue

Yesterday one of the 4 year old children on my bus looked at an adult and said, "You look weird!" Well you never know what a child is going to say, especially the children that we work with. However, although no one else said anything to him, I couldn't let it go and told him he shouldn't talk that way to others especially an adult. His reply was that the person looked weird so he said it. I asked him how he would feel if this adult had told him he looked weird and his… Continue

The life that she lived... the dreams she had dreamed were all crashing down at her feet
A tear silently falls as she stand on the edge of her life wishing she had the courage to just...
Its a quiet night and she stands seemingly invisible to the world around her
The chilling laughter of the breeze and the almost silent gurgle of the water
If she could just...
Her mind travels back... tries to make sense of anything that lays… Continue

Sometimes you wish you can erase the past and the hurt that came with it
The shame, betrayal and the constant reminder of it
Sometimes the memories come flooding in and all you can do is cry and wish
Sometimes there are places in the very midst of your soul that are so empty
that you never even knew existed
People say they are going to be there for you no matter what
and they are the first to run
Some people are supposed to be there for you no matter… Continue
