- About Me
- For starters my name is Corey, and I am a living example of how God can completely turn a life around. I have not always been the same person I am today. I have had a rough past, but God was patient with me, and it is because of His grace that He brought me out.
I have been baptized in the name of Jesus Christ, and received the Holy Ghost ( as evidence of speaking in tongues ) when I was 11 years old. I'm a student at Texas Bible College, and am working towards becoming a minister. I don't really know all that God has in store for me, but what I do know is that He has a purpose for my life, and that I am going to pursue it with everything that I have inside of me. I am not perfect by any stretch of the imagination, but I do try to advance my walk with God, and get better each and everyday. all that I, or anyone else can do is do my best, and leave the results up to God.
When I die I want to be remembered as a humble servant of God. Someone who, because of God did more good than bad, and even though I made mistakes, was always able to own up to them and fix the situation. I hope that my friends, and the ones that love me will say that I was a loyal, honest, and trustworthy person, who went out of my way to help the ones around me. I hope that my enemies will say that I was a patient man, always extending forgiveness to the ones around me. Ultimately I pray that I can lay my life, and all that I have done before God one to to hear the words "Well done, thou good, and faithful servant."
