Praise the Lord everyone! I do not have cancer but I have had contact with many people that has or had it. I have a prayer that a friend of mine wrote for people including my neighbor's friend who was or is fighting cancer. I have had many people tell me that they felt the Lord in this prayer. Its up in the discussion so it won't take up too much room here. Hope your day is blessed!

My name is James. I had two bouts with lymphoma non-hodgkins cancer. The first time was in the year of 2000. I had a knot that appeared on my forehead just above my nose in between my eyes. After they removed the mass, they found out that it was a tumor. I underwent 14 treatments of radiation. During the time of my operation and my recovery, Satan tried to torment me with dreams and thoughts of death. One morning about 2 AM, an evil presence entered our bedroom. My wife and I awoke at the same time and held hands and called on the name of Jesus. After we felt that it was gone, I turned to my side of the bed and there stood a ghostly figure. He spoke to my mind and said, " You just think that it is over, but it's not over yet." I begin to rebuke him and the figure disappeared. Two years later, while starting a weekend revival, I broke my right leg while showering. After further examinations, they determined that it was cancer that caused my right leg to break. After I was releashed from the hospital, they did more examinations to find out if I had cancer anywhere else. I had cancer all over my body even in some vital organs. This was worst than the first time, but I had no fear. Satan didn't torment me the way he did before. I found out through prayer that I had gotten the victory over that fear that night. I underwent 6 chemo therapy treatments. I was sick with nausea for three days after each treatment. I lost my hair and I was very weak. But through prayer and faith, I have been cancer free for six years. To God be the glory!!!!! Since those episodes with cancer, I have been able to pray for cancer victims, and God heal them. We have also begin a cancer ministry here at the church I pastor. We have seen many healed and many we comforted and prayed for till death claimed them. We have made many contacts through this ministry. I thank God for the experience with cancer. It has opened up a new method of evangelism.
