I have been attnding an apostolic church for about 4 months now and have came to see the truth in the teachings. I had previously been going to a baptist church for 10 yrs, so I repented about 8 yrs ago and was baptized (trinitarian), so now that I agree with apostolic teachings I know that I need to be baptized in Jesus name and recieve the baptism of the spirit. The question is should I rededicate my life then get baptized? Water baptism before holy ghost?

Thanks Jor.

Says REPENT AND BE BAPTIZED IN THE NAME OF JESUS! So, following repentance! Either before or after the Holy Ghost.

I am getting baptized next week.
I'm happy for you!

So how did the baptism go?

Ended up waiting. I'm doing it on my b day, sept 12. Church won't do it till I'm 18 without parental permission, and family is dedicatedly baptist.

Understood. I was raised Baptist myself. I've been the black sheep of the family for 22 years now. But, Jesus is worth it and I pray for them. Will be praying for you in all this. Have you gotten the Holy Ghost, yet?

Yep a couple of weeks ago at a youth rally

Hallelujah! That's awesome. Soon, you will be like Cornelius in Acts 10. When you go down in Jesus name, you'll be born again! Carry on in faith, dear little sis!

True, but I don't think anyone was disputing that, sis.
