We just seen SKILLET, RED, and THE LETTER BLACK here in arkansas last week. It was awesome, so as for me and my house, IT'S SKILLET!!! :-)

yea my old man of God at my former church used to preach against it and to get it off our ipods or it would send usto hell...now he attends their concerts. Skillet's last concert was sponsored by a VERY NASTY WORLDLY radio station. Their songs are used for monday night football and movies. I went with my girls last year and I felt conviction. It looked like a regular rock concert. There was no exaltation of God in any clear way. no message of salvation, Just songs that don't even say God. They can be about anything and some can't be about God at all. WHen i mentionedd them being a Christian band outloud at the concert, I had a kid turn around say really! You have got to be kidding. I knew then things were off course for my family and have since adjusted it. In the end it's up to each individual to make their own mind up but my opinion is they are not a Christian Band but i am not going to run others down for going but rather pray for them.
