Permalink Reply by Carrie Fite on March 11, 2010 at 9:55am: Casting Crowns and Toby Mac.....Some of his songs are a little out there but he does have some good ones......Casting Crowns is so awesome there songs always have a special meaning.......Skillet on the other hand is a good band, they sing good but it seems like im listening to head banging music....there lyrics can be a little weird too.....for example the song monster.........they do have a couple songs i like .......for example the older i get......this new generation that we are apart of is so aggravating sometimes because were always creating something new to a persons likes and dislikes to keep them in church......what ever happened to the old time gospel songs like the old time religion, I aint never giving up on Jesus, this little light of mine and more......dont get me wrong i dont have a problem with alot of music.....I love alot of songs...but head banging to get people in church is to far for my taste.......lol....like my family says.......Do we know when enough is really enough????............you may get mad at my opinion but its how i have been taught and its how i stand........; ▶ Reply to This
